I wanted to make my mom a birthday cake for her 59th birthday and I came across Gaz's recipe for his Salted Chocolate Banana Abundt Cake. His recipe was straight forward and easy to make. I did not use regular pistachios however, I used the crunchy salted pistachios that I found at Bulk Barn. I used vegan dark chocolate and confectioners sugar to top off the cake. This was one of my favourite recipes and I will definitely make it again for another upcoming event!
